Irpin University Campus Renewal

AMPOPS designed this campus renewal for the State Tax University in Irpin, rebuilt after war damage. Its brick facade carries a parametric pattern that, up close, reveals the petals of Ukraine's national flower. A gently rising green promenade, the Path of Honors, links the street, the Bucha River, and a pedestrian zone to the courtyard, with the names of the lost etched beneath its canopy. Public gathering sits at ground level with daylit classrooms above, and a gym below converts into a shelter. Locally sourced brick, pine, and concrete pair with passive solar strategies.
