Williamsburg Railroad Apartment Renovation

A narrow, railroad-style Williamsburg apartment, reshaped for openness and light. AMPOPS reorganized the layout to draw daylight deep into the plan and improve the flow. Drawn to classic arch forms, the client inspired a series of arched openings that define the living spaces. Used sparingly, the arches soften transitions and play against the apartment's straight planes. The arch language nods to the classics, yet stays minimal and precise. Transparent partitions, pale wood, and tailored materials offset the narrow footprint.
