Upper East Side Landmark Townhouse Restoration

Upper East Side Landmark Townhouse Restoration

A limestone townhouse in a protected historic district on Manhattan's Upper East Side. AMPOPS served as executive architect alongside Robert A.M. Stern Architect. AMPOPS steered the project through Landmarks review and city filings, then coordinated interior finishes to high-end residential standards while protecting its historic character. The restored facade keeps its bay windows, carved stone detailing, and a mansard crown with arched dormers, and the original limestone was repaired in place.
