Noodle Restaurant Renovation, Chelsea

AMPOPS renovated this casual neighborhood noodle restaurant in Chelsea giving it a polished design while maintaining its welcoming feel. A new clerestory band below the skylight brings daylight deep into the space, filtering through the partition between the dining nooks and the larger shared seating. The storefront was reworked to handle takeout and to give the restaurant a stronger presence on the Chelsea street. Inside, the entry path was clarified to improve flow between guests and staff, and the once-hidden kitchen was opened to view, making the cooking part of the room's energy.
