This Manhattan master suite starts from the real people in it, a couple with a significant height difference, and tailors the space to both. AMPOPS calibrated the fittings individually. His sink is raised, hers is lowered. Storage is sorted by vertical reach, his up high and hers down low, so each reaches what they need easily. A built-in bench beside her side of the bed offers a spot to pause, and custom cabinetry frames the morning routine. For all that individual tuning, the room reads as a whole. Continuous gray wood planes wrap the walls and fold into a sculptural canopy over the bed, concealed lighting warms the edges, and shared materials hold everything together.
