Color-Guided Apartment Renovation

AMPOPS designed this apartment for a daughter and her aging father, whose deteriorating vision shaped the approach. Color does the work of orientation, defining rooms, marking thresholds, and reducing the risk of disorientation as the father moves through the home. The kitchen wears yellow, the father's suite reads in saturated blue, and other zones take on green, pink, and mint. Hidden partitions can open or close off the father's space as the household needs.
